Shop.org Annual Summit in Vegas

The last show of the year that will include Celebros attendees (in the US)  is behind us. The Shop.org Annual Summit was hosted at the beautiful Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, NV last week.

While at the show, we got a chance to meet with several existing clients such as Richard Slater from HappyMothers.com and Bobby Lyons from SkinStore.com.

There were several unique inclusions to the show. For example, one-on-one critique sessions were available with industry experts. During the breaks, Fit  for Commerce provided expo hall tours to attendees. Many many attendees then wrapped up the day at the evening network event at the LAX night club.

eTail East

I just got back from eTail East in Washington DC, which was hosted at the Washington Hilton hotel. I was just about to add a link to their website, when I noticed it is already built for the 2009 exhibit - including basic details! We could all learn something from that level of preparedness.

This foresight and awareness of detail paid off in many ways. In particular, I have to say, the eTail personnel were very involved and helpful, ensuring that all who attended got the most of the experience. A special thanks goes to Michelle and Seth for their extraordinary attention and assistance.

In terms of our participation, a highlight for me was when Lynette Montgomery from pictureframes.com shared her experiences working with Celebros’ advanced site search & navigation solution, during the Search Day round tables on Monday August 4th. The increase in search traffic, click through rate, conversion rate, and average order size amazed all who were in attendance.

Meeting Customers at Internet Retailer

With over 3,200 attendants and 1,600 exhibitors, Internet Retailer’s a huge affair in the world of ecommerce and etailing.

Internet World 2008

Things are in high gear around the office, getting ready for Internet World. For those of you who might not know, Internet World is a major exhibition in the U.K. It’s basically designed to educate business decision makers on the latest developments in the market and introduce them to the suppliers who can help them implement their online strategies.
